Our Rates

All surety insurers with who bail agencies work are required to file their bail bond premium rate with the Department of Insurance. King Bee Bail Bonds is one of the few bail bond agencies that is authorized to offer an 8% rate in addition to the standard 10%.

We charge the following affordable bail bond rates:

Standard Premium Rate

Bonds up to and including $499.00 in liability will be charged $50.00

Bonds over $499.00 in liability will be charged 10% of the penal amount

8% Qualified Premium Rate

Bonds up to and including $600.00 in liability will be charged $50.00

Bonds over $600.00 in liability will be charged 8% of the penal amount

We are happy to offer the 8% premium rate to customers who meet the following qualifications:

• Retained Private Defense Counsel - The attorney must be retained within five (5) days of the bond execution date. A letter from the attorney retained or a copy of the retainer agreement between attorney and client must be received by King Bee Bail Bonds within (30) days of the bond execution date.
• Union Members - Must be actively enrolled in a union or receiving disability or retirement benefits from a union and must provide proof to King Bee Bail Bonds within (30) days of the bond execution date. A current pay stub or statement showing payment of union dues within the past (30) days or a letter from the Union stating the member is in good standing is required.
• Active or Veteran Members of the Military and their Immediate Family - Co-signers and defendants who are members of the United States Military must provide King Bee Bail Bonds with a current Military ID Card, a signed military declaration from either the military (Form DD214), or a signed declaration from the Service member with service member's ID card. In all cases, proof of Military service must be received within (30) days of the bond execution date.
